Drink 1:
Pot with 1000ml water boiling...
Add 6 big spoonful tea rice
wash ½ of the whole skin you peeled off the orange
5 red dates crushed n deseeded.
Low heat 5 min.
Turn off flame. Leave covered with lid for 30 min or so.
Strain and fill her thermos. Leave the rest in pot for refill.
Leave on stove for Jess

Drink 2:
Next round ¾ black beans and 10 black dates and 10 red dates and 2 ping pong balls of ginger crushed.
5l water.
25min then pour the whole thing into slow cooker, leave at lowest heat. Black dates must be slit to get the full essence.
After beverage done, black dates can be eaten. 

Drink 3:
Ginger
25 red dates (deseeded each)
4 black dates (crushed)
12 longans
12 goji berries
4 prunes
Big handful of black beans
5 litres of water

Drink 4:
If the episiotomy cut is healing well, hard boil 2 eggs , remove shell
Add 3 or 4 pieces Dong kwai
5 Black dates slit up
1½ cup hot water
Place in slow cooker. Slow heat for 3 hrs.

Snack 1:
Could get black beans or the hawthorn you bought. Soak a while, as for black beans, soak it 30 min or more.
Add ping pong ball size ginger, scrap skin away with spoon,  crush it, brown sugar to taste. Add water to boil all. Use pressure cooker.
Fill in flask, leave it to cool a bit, till bit warmer than lukewarm.

Snack 2:
Supper or snack
Hard boil eggs 2 or 3, peel shell
Black dates 5
Dongkwai 4 pcs
Steam/ pressure with 2 cups water
Fish setting shd be ok.
All the 3 elements can be consumed.

Brekkie 1:
Oats 2 makan spoons, 3/4 cup water. Put to boil. Watch it. Happy Oats boil over the pot easily.
A tsp or so of chia seeds or ground flaxseed. Pinch of salt. As it boils, go Peel a banana, cut to chunks, whatever size.
Grate some yellow ginger, half tsp or so. Add in.
Consistency of oats, up to yr taste. Add bit water if too thick. If too dilute, add a small spoon of oats again and boil just a while. Done.

Brekkie 2:

Meesua simple:
Ginger slices, pan fry separately in sesame oil till brown.
Extract ginger to small bowl.
Continue in pan: Measure the water according to how much normally would consume for one/two serving. Pour in pan. 
Water boiling, drop in pieces of meat, however much u wld think can make a decent bowl of soup for yrself and Jess.
Wash some vegetables, tear up and chuck in to boiling soup. Dont overcook meat.
Drop an egg for yourself.
Taste soup. Add soysauce accordingly.
Meesua scorch with hot water or boil till done.
Add me sua to soup.
Add fried ginger and spring onions after serving into bowls.

Meat marinade 1:
Lean meat in fridge, take out, cut into thin slices of 2mm thickness.
Marinate with:
1 spoon soy sauce
2 spoon sesame oil
Less than 1 spoon rice wine
4 pinches sugar
Shake of pepper.
1 tsp corn starch (Extra for chicken breast).
1 tsp baking soda (For chicken breast).
Grate turmeric.
Massage the meat
Cover, put in fridge.

Meat cook 1:
Sesame oil fry crushed garlic.
Add all slices of marinaded meat.
Sear to brown and flip, repeat.
Add mushroom slices, toss all.
Add one-inch slices of spring onions, toss.
Serve.

Pork spare ribs 1:

Boil chopped/scissored/washed spare ribs in pot with 2 bowls of water.
Slice a ping pong ginger, shred a ping pong ginger, and shred turmeric (ring finger size).
Cut up 3 carrots into chunks.
Cut up 1 onion into chunks.
Cut 1 or 2 corns into 4 quarters each.

Remove boiled pork into baking dish. And preheat oven at 180°C fan forced.

Add into boiling soup the
corn,
carrots,
sliced ginger,
salt n pepper,
and boil some more.
Add spring onion before serving (don't cover lid).

Add into baking dish the
shredded ginger and turmeric,
onions,
2 dashes of sugar,
2 dashes of sesame oil,
2 dashes of soy sauce,
1 tsp corn starch,
Hand mix everything,
Seal with aluminum foil,
Pop into oven for 30-45 min.

Long beans:
Wash, break into few segments. Line them up,  to save time, then cut into thin rings.
As usual ginger  Chopped up some to abt 1 Tbsp
Turmeric, scrape off skin with spoon. Slice up thinly into matchsticks (1 tbsp)
Thin slices onion.
Slightly beat 2 eggs, some soy sauce
Fry ginger and turmeric and onion till golden brown.
Add in the chopped rings of long beans, fry 3 min.
Add in eggs. Squirt  more sesame oil to side of wok. Make into egg flat cake.

Whole chicken boiled:

Drip out the inside of chicken into a bowl.
Put salt inside and clean.
Remove excess oil/fat..

Prepare pot to lie down (breast up) or stand chicken.
Water level: ¾++ of chicken height, breast meat.
Remove the chicken, and boil the water alone, add to the water 1 tsp of salt + crushed ginger + one whole spring onion (only cut into half) + 4 pcs dong quai
Once boiled, hold wings/legs and dunk chicken 7 times.
Put chicken in again breast up.
Smallest flame, close lid, 20 minutes.
Open cover, high flame, breast down, until boil.
Cover lid again, off flame.
Poke knife into thigh to see if cooked.
Leave until eat. Remove from soup.

Carcass make porridge, small pot of water.

Curry chicken:
Chop quarter pumpkin into chunks
Chop apple into chunks
Fry one sliced onion in vege oil
Add cumin powder, and stir until onions golden.
Add curry powder 2 tsp.
Add A1 curry paste pack.
Stir all until wetter mixture.
Add chicken oieces, mix and sit until more watery.
Add pumpkin and apple chunks, mix and sit until more watery.
Close lid and check every 3 minutes to stir.
Done when pumpkin softens and curry is wet.

Pork belly:
Cut slab of 1kg pork belly into lengths (not too thick).

A pot of water for minimal soup, boil.
Pork belly into hot water 3 minutes for stock.
Choy sum, onions, carrots, potatoes, fried ginger.

Ginger slices, garlic slices, fry in sesame oil.
Sear pork belly.
Add water to half meat high, boil, flame down, simmer a long while on each side.
Add soy sauce, 5 spices/mix herbs, 4-5 tsp of brown sugar, Worcester sauce, caramel sauce.
Simmer longer to be softer.

Pork spare ribs / ribs:
Blanch, then cut/chop into pieces.
Marinade: soy sauce, sesame oil, caramel sauce, sugar, salt, pepper, corn starch, rice wine.
Add ginger slices, 5 red dates, 1 black fungus, and goji.

Chicken Maryland 1:

Marinade with paprika, turmeric powder, ginger powder, mixed herbs, salt, pepper, some chilli flakes, olive oil, sesame oil, soy sauce, slice of butter, chopped garlic.


Chicken Maryland 2:

Make sure chicken thoroughly at room temperature, not cold fr the fridge.
Make sure the chicken has enough time to cook right through.

Prepare chicken, cut away excess oil, leave skin on.
Give it a few stabs at the thickest part.
½ tsp salt or more, rub all over, even into the stabbed grooves.
Insert 2 to 3 pieces dongkwai into the grooves.
Set aside

Put rice to cook with grated turmeric, grated ginger no salt this time.... more turmeric than ginger portion.
Set to cook as usual. Watch when the water is quite absorbed into the cooking rice, place chicken on top of rice.

Leave the rice and chicken to cook and keep warm till meal time.

Alternatively, if no rice: Place chicken skin down first in fitting pot. No need any water. Chicken will release it's own. Lowest flame possible. Close lid. Leave for 20 min. Then turn skin up, repeat process. Leave for 20 min. Then prick the thickest part through with a chopstick. If the liquid that comes out is clear, it's cooked. If reddish, close lid, cook another 5 min. Test again.

Salmon:
So pan fry the fish with little olive oil on pan, skin down dont touch it till u see the meat turns colour about ½ way up. Flip to the other side and do the same. Twds the end, squirt some soy sauce or sprinkle some salt and black pepper.

Carrot cake:
1 big carrot, 1 small carrot. Grate.
1 orange for zest. Grate skin.
3 tbsp orange squeeze.
2 bananas, smashed.
Almonds and hazelnuts 200g, crushed.
Plain flour, 180g.
Baking powder, 2 tsp.
Cinnamon / ginger powder / mixed spice / salt
Sultanas, handful.
Oven: 170C, top bottom heat, cake tin in middle layer.
